OAKLAND, CALIFORNIA: Superior Court of Alameda County to offer modified services the weeks of November 22 and December 27, 2021.

The Superior Court of Alameda County (Court) announced today that it will offer modified services during the holiday weeks of November 22 and December 27, 2021. These service modifications reflect traditionally lower public use of Court resources during the holiday period and also enable Court personnel to participate in a Voluntary Time Off Program (VTOP) as an important cost-saving measure.

The following Court services will be available during the VTOP weeks, although reduced staffing levels may result in longer wait times and other delays:

  • Clerk’s office telephone hours;
  • Self-Help Center telephone hours and Live Chat;
  • Drop box, e-filing, and fax filing; and
  • In-person records searches at the Rene C. Davidson Courthouse in Oakland.

In addition, the case and hearing types enumerated below will continue to be heard during the weeks of November 22-24 and December 27-30, unless otherwise noted. (All California Superior Courts will be closed on November 25 and 26 and December 24 and 31.)

  • Wiley W. Manuel Courthouse, Oakland (WWM)
    • Dept. 105 – Civil Harassment, Workplace Violence, and School Violence Restraining Orders
    • Dept. 112 – Dispositions and Time Urgent Matters

    • Dept. 702 – North County Arraignments
    • Dept. 712 – South/East County Arraignments
