REGISTER NOW FOR PART TWO OF THE CIVIL TRIAL ADVOCACY PROGRAM, OPENING STATEMENTS, ON JUNE 23

After a successful first session, which saw more than 1,600 registrants, the Court’s Diversity Inclusion Working Group is pleased to announce the next part of the series – Opening Statements. Join attorney experts at noon on Thursday, June 23 as they share insight into successful administration of mini-opening and opening statements and receive 2-hour MCLE credit. (The Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles is a State Bar of California approved MCLE
provider.) The program includes:

  • A “Nuts and Bolts” lecture on mini-openings and opening statements with perspective from plaintiff and defense counsel;
  • A mini-opening demonstration;
  • A mock opening statement demonstration; and
  • A Roundtable session with feedback and tips from the presenters.

Attorneys of all levels of experience are encouraged to attend.
