The first forum organized by the recently announced Diversity Inclusion Working Group, “Help Others While Helping Yourself,” will take place at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, September 14, online and in-person at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse’s Panorama Café, 9th Floor, 111 N. Hill St., Los Angeles. Event details and a registration link are provided below.

Attorneys are encouraged to attend the forum to learn about and explore pro bono opportunities to gain courtroom experience while helping litigants who cannot afford legal representation in their Civil cases.

The link to the virtual program will be sent after registration with log-on instructions. In-person event requires proof of vaccination prior to entry. Moderated by Presiding Judge Eric C. Taylor, the Co-Chair of the Diversity Inclusion Working Group, the forum will include participants from the Los Angeles Center for Law and Justice, Inner City Law Center, the Public Law Center, Bet Tzedek, Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles and the Harriett Buhai Center for Family Law.
