WHEN ENTERING THE SPRING STREET COURTHOUSE FEDERAL WORKPLACE SAFETY PROTOCOLS REQUIRE CERTIFICATION OF FULL VACCINATION STATUS OR PROOF OF A NEGATIVE COVID TEST
The Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles (Court) is providing notice that effective Tuesday, September 7, the general public seeking to observe court proceedings, including the media, at the Spring Street Courthouse, located in a federal building, will be required to fill out a form to certify whether they are fully vaccinated or not prior to entry using a mandated federal form. Visitors who are not fully vaccinated, or decline to provide information about their vaccination status, must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test which is no older than three (3) days at the time of entry.
Attorneys, witnesses, and other court participants such as victims who are scheduled for court proceedings will be required to confirm the reason for their visit and will be required to show a valid ID for entry.
No one seeking services from the Court will be denied entry, but everyone must follow other COVID-19 restrictions. Please note the Court requires everyone over the age of two (2) to wear face masks properly over their nose and mouth in all courthouses.
The Spring Street Courthouse, 312 N. Spring St., Los Angeles, is subject to the Agency Model Safety Principles issued by the Safer Federal Workforce Task Force on July 29, 2021. Media employees, contractors, and the general public, such as court observers, will be asked to fill out the Certification of Vaccination form prior to entry or provide proof of a negative COVID test.
