As a precautionary measure to help slow the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) the County Clerk/Recorder’s Office will not be able to provide services for walk-in customers from March 18, 2020, through April 7, 2020.

Real Estate Recordings:
There will be no real estate recordings accepted for walk-in customers. With a limited staff, we will continue to work to record electronically submitted real estate documents and real estate documents submitted through the U.S. mail.

Vital Record Requests:
Birth, Marriage, and Death Record requests will be accepted and processed when submitted online through VitalChek services, as well as requests submitted through the mail. Completed requests will be sent out through the U.S. Mail.

FBNS Filings:
Fictitious Business Name filings will not be accepted for walk-in customers. However, filings submitted through the mail will be processed based on the availability of staff. Completed filings will be sent out through the U.S. Mail.

Official Record Copies:
Official Record copy requests will not be accepted for walk-in customers. However, copy requests submitted through VitalChek services and through the mail will be processed based on the availability of staff. Completed requests will be sent out through the U.S. Mail.

General Phone Calls:
Phone calls, voicemails, and emails may be answered based on the availability of staff.
