Effective Monday, August 3, 2020, Superior Court of California, County of Kern will require mandatory electronic filing (eFile) by all represented parties in Probate filings.

  • Original Wills/Codicils, Bonds, Letters related to Probate, Guardianship and Conservatorship, and Affidavits re Real Property of Small Value will need to be filed conventionally.
  • Self‑represented litigants, while strongly encouraged to eFile, are not required to do so.
