Pursuant to California Rules of Court, Appendix I: Emergency Rules Related to COVID-19, rule 3 and the Statewide Emergency Orders issued by the Chief Justice of California Tani G. Cantil-Sakauye, the court previously implemented changes to increase accessibility to virtual appearances in civil, probate, and family law cases, including suspending Local Rules 2.5.8 (civil), 4.4.5 (probate), and 5.2.5 (family). (See General Order of the Presiding Department, Order No. 010121-41(A).)
Effective September 7, 2021, all virtual appearances must be made using the free Microsoft Teams App (“MS Teams App”). Court Call will no longer be used.
