Novel Coronavirus COVID-19 Update

the following summarizes services that will be provided or limited in scope:

  • Real Property – There will be NO walk-in real property recordings accepted.  We encourage customers to submit documents either by mail or through verified Electronic Recording Partners, so they may be submitted electronically.
  • Passport Applications – Passport applications will not be accepted or processed until further notice. Check the Department of State website.
  • Birth, Death, and Marriage Records Requests – Requests for vital records (birth, death, and marriage records) may be submitted online through the Vitalchek service and through the mail. Completed requests will be mailed to you directly.
  • Business Filings, Official Record Purchases – Business filings and requests for the purchase of copies of official records may be submitted through the mail. Completed filings or requests will be mailed to you directly.
  • General Phone Calls and Emails – Phone calls, voicemails, and emails will be answered as soon as possible based on the availability of staff.
