PUBLIC NOTICE RE: TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF CLERK’S COUNTERS, ONLINE PAYMENT SERVICE AND ONLINE TELEPHONIC APPEARANCE SERVICE

The Superior Court of California, County of El Dorado (Court) is transitioning to a new case management system. To support this transition, temporary modifications to Court operations will occur as follows:

Clerk’s Counters

On Thursday, October 14, 2021, and Friday, October 15, 2021, Clerk’s Counters will be closed to the public in all Court facilities. Services provided at the Clerk’s Counters will be accessible as follows:

• Drop Box – A drop box is available at each Court facility. Filings placed in drop boxes after 4:00 p.m. will be filed by the Court on the next court day.
• Record Search Requests – Requests may be submitted by mail or fax. For information on how to submit a record search request visit https://www.eldorado.courts.ca.gov/online-services/record-search-requests.
• General Information – For information on how to contact the Court by phone or email visit https://www.eldorado.courts.ca.gov/general-information/locations-contact-info.

Online Payment Service

From 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, through 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, October 17, 2021, the Court’s online payment service will not be available to accept credit card or EFT payments for traffic and criminal fines. Online Telephonic Appearance Service

From 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, through 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, October 17, 2021, the Court’s online telephonic appearance service will not be available to schedule or cancel telephonic appearances.
