LASC: Traffic Arraignments and Traffic Trials Moving From Pasadena Courthouse to Glendale Courthouse

Court Notice

Traffic Arraignments and Traffic Trials Moving From Pasadena Courthouse to Glendale Courthouse

Pasadena Traffic Courtroom Department M to Move to Glendale Courthouse in Department F

Effective Nov. 16, 2026, the Superior Court of Los Angeles County will relocate Department M, a traffic courtroom, at the Pasadena Courthouse, located at 300 E. Walnut St. in Pasadena, to Department F at the Glendale Courthouse, located at 600 E. Broadway in Glendale.

The Court remains committed to providing access to justice and will continue to offer parties the option to appear remotely via LACourtConnect (LACC), the Court’s remote courtroom appearance platform.

Key Details for Litigants Previously Assigned to Department M at the Pasadena Courthouse:
1. Courtroom Appearances

  • All courtroom appearances for traffic and non-traffic infractions and trials previously scheduled at the Pasadena Courthouse, including arraignments and trials, will be calendared in Department F at the Glendale Courthouse.
  • Litigants with scheduled court appearances in Department M at the Pasadena Courthouse on or after Nov. 16, 2026, will receive a notice via U.S. mail informing them that their matter will be moved to Department F at the Glendale Courthouse. Hearing dates and times may change in some instances, so litigants should carefully review the Court’s notice for information about scheduling.
  • All matters previously assigned to Department M at the Pasadena Courthouse will be assigned to Department F at the Glendale Courthouse for all purposes, unless otherwise notified.
  • The Pasadena Courthouse will continue to accept traffic infraction filings following the relocation of the traffic courtroom. The Clerk’s Office will remain open to assist the public with filing forms, processing payments, traffic school requests, and providing general information.

2. Remote Appearances

Remote appearances via LACC are available for certain arraignments and trials, unless:

  • Litigants have documents or other evidence, such as photos or videos, to present during trial.
  • The defendant’s identity is in question.

Key Details Regarding Customer Service for Traffic Matters:

  • Litigants with infraction citations issued anywhere in Los Angeles County may:
    • Use CourtHelp for Traffic Citations, the Court’s interactive online support tool that provides tailored responses to court user questions, including traffic services that allow court users to look up traffic citations, make payments, and complete common traffic-related requests online from a simple, easy–to–use interface.
    • Call the Court’s Traffic Call Center at 213-633-6300 to pay their citations or to schedule arraignments and trials.
