As a result of extensive city street closures and significant crowds anticipated for the Los Angeles Dodgers 2025 World Series parade on Monday, Nov. 3, the Court will modify operations at select courthouses and facilities in the downtown Los Angeles Civic Center.

Impacted Courthouses and Facilities:

As a result of extensive road closures beginning as early at 5 a.m. and anticipated pedestrian attendance severely impacting access to buildings in the Civic Center, the following Los Angeles County courthouses will be closed to the public on Monday, Nov. 3.

  • Stanley Mosk Courthouse at 111 N. Hill St.
  • Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center at 210 W. Temple St.
  • Superior Court departments at the Spring Street Courthouse at 312 N. Spring St.
  • Superior Court Archives and Records Center at 222 N. Hill St., Room 212.

Regular court operations at these locations will resume on Tuesday, Nov. 4. The Court’s remaining 33 courthouses will be open for business as usual.

“Due to significant anticipated crowds and related street closures in the Civic Center area, litigants, staff, and judicial officers will be unable to access our downtown Los Angeles courthouses. As a result, it is necessary to modify court operations at these locations,” Presiding Judge Sergio C. Tapia II said. “The Court remains steadfast in its commitment to ensuring timely access to justice for all Los Angeles County residents. We have implemented contingency measures to assist affected court users and will continue normal operations at our 33 remaining courthouse locations.”
