Kern County Superior Court: Notice of Resumption of Electronic Filing

The Kern County Superior Court will be transitioning to a new case management system, eCourt, effective October 6, 2025.

  • Effective Monday, October 6, at 8 a.m., the court will no longer accept paper filings from represented parties. Please refer to the Standing Order STO-25-0008.

Any questions regarding the status of specific filings, filing and calendaring timeframes should be directed to the appropriate non-criminal division directly.

Additionally, all Court locations will be able to accept credit or debit cards as a form of payment October 6. Online credit and debit card payments will also become available.

The Court appreciates the patience and cooperation of counsel, the public, and our justice partners as we work to ensure a smooth transition with minimal disruption.
