LASC: MANDATORY EFILING RESUMES FOR REPRESENTED PARTIES IN CARE COURT, CIVIL, FAMILY LAW, JUVENILE DEPENDENCY AND PROBATE CASES

Self-Represented Parties May Choose to Efile or File In Person

Effective August 1, the Court’s mandatory electronic filing (efiling) rules will resume for represented parties in CARE Court, Civil, Family Law, Juvenile Dependency and Probate cases. Efiling provides efficiency and enhances the Court’s ability to maintain complete and easily accessible records.

Self-represented parties may choose to efile or may file in person. Self-represented litigants may efile documents by registering with an Electronic Filing Service Provider (EFSP). Self-represented litigants may also file documents in person at the clerk’s office or by U.S. mail. Additional information regarding efiling is available on the Court’s Efiling Information Page.
