The Superior Court of Los Angeles County is proud to announce the publication of its 2025 Annual Report, reflecting on a year of innovation and resilience with a visual and informative report that reflects the Court’s mission to serve Los Angeles County by providing equal access to justice through the fair, timely, and effective resolution of all cases.
“We are proud to present the Court’s 2025 Annual Report, which illustrates the Court’s vital role in upholding our democracy by ensuring that justice is accessible, impartial, and grounded in the rule of law,” Presiding Judge Sergio C. Tapia II said. “At the heart of every innovation at the Court is the court user, and the Court is committed to serving as a model of fairness, transparency, and progress. Each initiative the Court advances reflects the core understanding that access to justice is fundamental to a functioning democratic society.”
The 2025 Annual Report highlights many of the year’s visible achievements, including the launch of the Court’s redesigned and user-focused website and the introduction of juror check-in kiosks. The report also highlights ways in which the Court is meeting court users where they are, including with the launch of Court Commons. This pop-up community resource center demystifies the judicial system and brings court services directly to Los Angeles County neighborhoods.
