Superior Court of Los Angeles County to Expand LACourtConnect for Remote Hearings to All Juvenile Justice Courtrooms Beginning Sept. 29
Webex Will No Longer Be Used for Remote Appearances in Juvenile Justice Courtrooms
Effective Sept. 29, 2025, the Superior Court of Los Angeles County will expand LACourtConnect (LACC), the Court’s updated free remote courtroom appearance technology, to all remaining Juvenile Justice courtrooms. This expansion follows the successful pilot program launched in July in select Juvenile Justice courtrooms.
Beginning Sept. 29, parties may use LACC to appear remotely in the following Juvenile Justice courtrooms:
- Michael D. Antonovich Antelope Valley Courthouse
- Department A08
- Compton Courthouse
- Department 261
- Department 262
- Inglewood Juvenile Courthouse
- Department 240
- Department 241
- Department 242
- Governor George Deukmejian (Long Beach) Courthouse
- Department S30
- Department S31
- Sylmar Juvenile Courthouse
- Department 277
- Department 279
This transition marks the next phase in the Court’s ongoing efforts to streamline and modernize remote access to court proceedings.
Using LACourtConnect:
Beginning Sept. 29, 2025, litigants and attorneys appearing remotely in Juvenile Justice matters must use LACC to access their hearings. Webex will no longer be supported for remote appearances in these courtrooms.
LACC is a free, simplified, and modernized platform that allows court users to appear remotely through Microsoft Teams with advanced registration required. To appear remotely, users must visit the LACC home page, select “All Other Case Types” as their litigation type, and search for their hearing by case number, calendar or name.
Key features of LACC include:
- Same-Day Check-In: Participants may check in shortly before their scheduled hearing.
- Platform Consistency: A streamlined experience using Microsoft Teams across all supported devices.
- My Checked-in Hearings: Allows users to view and manage multiple hearings in one place.
- Attorney of Record Convenience: Attorneys with multiple hearings on the same day may check in to all of them with a single login.
Once checked in, users will receive a Microsoft Teams link to join the courtroom’s virtual meeting room and will be instructed to wait until their matter is called.

LACC 3.0 is compatible with Windows PC, macOS, iOS, iPadOS, and Android devices that support Microsoft Teams.
