Superior Court of Los Angeles County to Continue Suspending Superior Court Operations at the Spring Street Courthouse on Thursday, February 5, Due to Water Damage
To continue protecting the safety of court users, court staff, and judicial officers, the Superior Court of Los Angeles County will again suspend operations at the Spring Street Courthouse, located at 312 N. Spring St., Los Angeles, on Thursday, February 5, due to ongoing issues resulting from remediation efforts to address a water leak.
The Court worked throughout the day with partners at the U.S. General Services Administration and the Judicial Council of California to identify and mitigate potential safety issues resulting from water damage in Department 10 on the first floor of the Spring Street Courthouse. At this time, no official determination has been made to ensure Superior Court Departments at the Spring Street courthouse are safe for court users, staff, and judicial officers.

Impacted Cases:
Hearings and matters scheduled for Thursday, February 5, in Superior Court departments at the Spring Street Courthouse may be continued, conducted remotely, or moved to the Stanley Mosk Courthouse. Parties are encouraged to appear remotely to check in with court staff regarding their scheduled matters.
