Superior Court of Los Angeles County to Re-Open Superior Court Departments at the Spring Street Courthouse on Friday, February 6
The Superior Court of Los Angeles County will resume all Superior Court operations at the Spring Street Courthouse on Friday, February 6. Working closely with the U.S. General Services Administration and the Judicial Council of California, the Court has been advised that the Spring Street Courthouse is safe for occupancy.
“The Court appreciates the patience of those who were impacted by the temporary suspension of Superior Court operations at the Spring Street Courthouse earlier this week,” Presiding Judge Sergio C. Tapia II said. “The safety of court users, court staff and judicial officers remains a top priority and the Court will continue to work diligently to ensure equal access to justice through the fair, timely and effective resolution of all cases.”

Impacted Cases:
Hearings and matters scheduled for Friday, February 6, in Superior Court departments at the Spring Street Courthouse are expected to resume as scheduled.
Information for Jurors:
Jurors currently serving on trials from the Spring Street Courthouse are instructed to report to their assigned Spring Street Courthouse department.
