The Superior Court of Alameda County announces new judicial assignments that will take effect on Friday, January 1, 2021. The complete list is being circulated with this press release, and is also available on the Court’s website here.
Effective January 1, Hon. Brad Seligman, who presides over Department 23 and currently supervises Complex Civil Litigation, will become the new Supervising Judge of the Court’s Civil Division and the County Administration Building, located at 1221 Oak Street, Oakland. The Hon. Somnath Raj Chatterjee, who presides over Department 503, will become the new Supervising Judge of the Court’s Family Division and the Hayward Hall of Justice, located at 24405 Amador Street, Hayward.
