When you are reconciling your monthly statement, your priority is to resolve it as quickly and painlessly as possible. That’s why First Legal is here to help you navigate the process. We’ve crafted this article to help you understand our billing cycle and our rates. From a simple copy of a ticket or invoice, to complex queries about the breakdown of charges on an order, a team of professionals is always ready to help you.
As a client, you may be facing questions about the coding of abbreviations, the breakdown of charges, or the fees advanced at the court. For example, if your firm was charged twice for court appearance fees, we have a simple process for solving the problem after you have paid. We will also need the face pages of the documents, along with your receipts, and the caption pages of the filed documents. Simple action plans like these help make your interactions with the billing process as smooth as possible.
First Legal provides many options for invoicing, giving you the flexibility to customize your experience. You’ll be able to determine billing frequency (weekly, bimonthly, monthly), level of detail to appear on the invoice, and your preferred delivery format. Currently, invoices are available by PDF, Print, or Electronic (EDI). Statements are sent out monthly showing all open invoices, and invoices are accessible online as well. If you have questions concerning any of the abbreviations that appear on the invoice, we have also provided a helpful guide to our abbreviations here. Our experienced Client Care Department would be glad to answer any of your questions related to invoices. They are available from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm and can be reached at 877-350-8698, or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
